"Moraiolo"

Variety with little vigor, medium-sized foliage and upright growth habit,  suffers frosts.  The lack of vigor makes it sensitive to pruning which is therefore to be limited. It is self-sterile, Frantoio and Pendolino are the ideal varieties for its pollination. It has a high productivity. The olives are small and black-violet in color from which a very high quality oil is obtained. Consumption from the canteen is not recommended.
