Grevillea x Fireworks

Proteaceae shrub, hybrid between G. 'Pink Pixie' and Grevillea alpina, created in New South Wales by Peter James Ollerenshaw.

It has linear leaves 1-2 cm long, 0.3 cm wide, blue-green in color, soft to the touch. It reaches dimensions of approximately 1 x 1 m. Cluster inflorescences similar to a raceme, 3 x 3 cm terminals, bright red and yellow, produced in spring and autumn. Very apt name in English, Fireworks.

Very ornamental, rustic once acclimatized, it fears water stagnation and cold.
